The 12 years old Redbreast is an Irish Whisky that follows the irish style of Single Pot Still, obtained exclusively from the mixture of malted and unmalted barley. It is also a Whiskey cask strenght, that is the type matured for a long time in wooden casks and bottled at full degree without the dilution of water. It is therefore warm, intense and soft, enriched with a complex bouquet of sweet spices, toasted notes and aromas of dried fruit

The Redbreast Irish Whiskey aged 12 Years is one of the most interesting labels of this particular and beloved type. It perfectly reflects the classic style of Irish whiskeys which, unlike many Scotch whiskies, do not use peat in the malting drying process. This production choice allows for the emphasis on fruity aromas, the softness and sweetness of the sip. Its pleasant notes of ripe fruit, candied fruit, and spices make the distillate particularly harmonious and balanced.

The Redbreast Irish Whiskey 12 Years is a whiskey with a very pleasant taste, particularly appreciated by those who prefer soft and fruity distillates. It is produced by one of the most famous distilleries in Ireland, the Midleton Distillery, which is located in Cork and represents an essential reference point for the production of Irish distillates. The production process of Redbreast is based on a balanced blend of malted barley and unmalted barley. The distillation still takes place today according to the oldest customs, using old copper pot stills and a process that involves a triple distillation, ensuring absolute expressive finesse and a delicate softness. The choice of fine woods for the long aging completes the refinement process, giving the right complexity to the final result.

The Irish Whiskey Redbreast 12 Years is made with a base of excellent quality barley. At the end of the long distillation process, a pure and highly refined whiskey is obtained. Before being bottled, the distillate matures for a period of 12 years in wooden casks previously used for aging Bourbon and aromatic fortified wines from Jerez. In the glass, it presents a golden color with light amber reflections. On the nose, it recalls aromas of small berries, the sweetness of ripe yellow fruit and tropical fruit, candied citrus peel, delicately spicy hints, toasted notes, and noble woods. On the palate, it has a seductive entry, with a harmonious and smooth sip on fruity and malty notes. The finish is long and persistent, with a slightly spicy closure.
