Herradura Tequila Reposado is an intense and traditional spirit, aged for 11 months in white oak barrels. It is smooth, spicy and delicately sweet, with hints of fruit, vanilla, pepper and cooked agave. To be tasted smooth or in cocktails, possibly combined with savory dishes from Mexico

The Herradura Reposado Tequila is a true tribute to the territory of Jalisco, the region where Herradura has been based since 1870. Great attention to detail characterizes the entire production phase, which starts from a meticulous selection of the best blue agave plants grown within the distillery's own fields. The aging in wood gives this Tequila an expressive and mature sip, also helping to release tertiary aromas that are perceived as soon as the distillate is brought close to the nose. A perfect label to drink either neat or in various cocktails.

This Reposado Tequila is produced by the Herradura distillery, managing the entire production process independently. It starts from a quality raw material, blue agave - which grows in plantations owned by Herradura - from which the piñas are obtained, that is, the internal parts of the plant that, once cooked and fermented, lead to pulque, the agave juice. This liquid is distilled, and at the end of the processing, a white Tequila is obtained, which is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, thus becoming a Reposado. The practice of aging in wood was born with the wife of the founder of Herradura, Felicie Romano, who in 1874 thought that aging in wood would give greater complexity to the final product. A winning intuition that led many other Tequila producers over the years to use maturation in barrels.

The Herradura Reposado Tequila presents itself visually with a color reminiscent of amber, particularly intense, characterized by some darker reflections, tending towards copper. The olfactory examination denotes hints of dried fruit and slight nuances of anise, while in the finish there is a recall to the cornerstone of Tequila production, blue agave. Delicate and intense on the palate, it moves with an almost tactile sip, endowed with a finish of excellent taste persistence.
