Trento Spumante Brut Riserva 'Perlé Rosé' Ferrari 2013
The Brut “Perlé Rosé” Reserve is a Trento Sparkling wine that caresses the palate with a captivating, gentle bubble, which risks making the bottle disappear too quickly. A blend where, alongside Pinot Noir, we find 20% Chardonnay, grape varieties that integrate perfectly with each other, giving life to a body and a harmony of balanced aromas. Ferrari, a major reference point in Italy for Classic Method production, impresses with a label that is nothing short of chic, reserved for toasts and the most important occasions.
This “Perlé Rosé” Reserve is a Trento Brut Sparkling wine that arises from the happy union of two international grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The grapes of these two varieties grow in hilly vineyards, located on the slopes of the mountains of Trentino, at an altitude above sea level between 300 and 600 meters, facing south and southeast. The grapes, hand-picked around mid-September, are processed following the typical production process of the Classic Method, carrying out the second fermentation in the bottle. The wine then remains in contact with its own yeasts, for at least 60 months.
The Trento Brut Sparkling “Perlé Rosé” Reserve announces itself in the glass with a beautiful color, reminiscent of the shade of antique pink, very elegant; the perlage is fine, subtle, with excellent persistence. The range of aromas that composes the identity of this Sparkling wine tells of broad notes, where small red fruits are found, alternated with more floral hints and citrus peel. In the mouth, it has excellent body, refined, with an extremely soft sip, revealing great persistence. A label endowed with a noble soul, with which Ferrari offers the perfect bottle to uncork during an evening to be spent in the name of romance.
