The Pinotage from Diemersdal is a rich and structured South African red wine. Fermentation in open tanks with frequent punch downs and subsequent aging for 14 months in French oak barrels define a full-bodied and concentrated profile. On the nose, there are hints of ripe red fruits, notes of vanilla, and toasted reminders of dark chocolate. The palate is full and smooth, with velvety tannins. Ideal with glazed pork ribs with barbecue sauce.
