Niccolò V di Lunae Bosoni is a Ligurian red wine made from Sangiovese, Merlot and Pollera Nera grapes that come from vineyards grown on soils with pebbles. It presents itself to the eye with a ruby red color crossed by violet reflections and expresses to the nose notes of spices, black pepper and cinnamon with a leather background, and ripe red fruit. At the mouthfeel it is warm and of great enveloping, persuasive and with soft tannins and a slightly mineral finish.

The "Niccolò V" by Lunae Bosoni is a warm and seductive red wine, with great personality. A blend of three different varieties – Merlot, Pollera Nera, and Sangiovese – it asserts itself on the palate with good minerality, ensuring a sip with a pleasantly dry finish. A label that arises from a deep understanding of the territory and local traditions, reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective to anticipate the future, capable of surprising even in terms of longevity.

The "Niccolò V" Lunae Bosoni originates from the grapes of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Pollera Nera, an indigenous Ligurian variety mainly cultivated in the Lunigiana area. The vines of these varieties grow using the guyot system in stony soils rich in skeleton, and the clusters are harvested around the middle and end of September. The must ferments in steel containers at a controlled temperature, remaining in contact with the skins for 12 days. The final maturation phase takes place first for 12 months in French oak barriques and then, once bottling operations are completed, for another 6 months directly in glass.

The "Niccolò V" signed by the Lunae Bosoni winery presents itself visually with a ruby red color, characterized by some slight shades tending more towards purple, especially visible at the rim. The nose opens up to a whirlwind of spicy hints, enriched by echoes of ripe fruit and notes of leather and tobacco. On the palate, it has excellent body, with a broad and enveloping sip, which unfolds delicately thanks to a tannic structure finely integrated into the overall framework. On the taste, there is a slight saltiness. An intense Ligurian red, ideal for pairing with game dishes and aged cheeses.
