"BB Boom" by craft brewery Barley is an IGA with a 100% sardinian soul, realized adding Vermentino grapes wort. This typical white grape is protagonist on the nose with intense aromas of red orange, pink grapefruit, yellow apple and mango. On the palate is surprising, perfectly hoppy with vinous and fruity nuance giving a full, roundy and high quality sip with a classic bitter closure

The “BB Boom” from the Sardinian craft brewery Barley is an Italian Grape Ale of pure Sardinian blood: a true homage to the island of Sardinia and its rugged, lush, and sunny territory. This amber beer is made with the addition of sapa, which is concentrated grape must obtained through evaporation, from Vermentino grapes, the most well-known and widespread white grape variety on the island. The oenological expression of this beer is clear and evident, so much so that it was awarded in the latest 'Guide to the Beers of Italy by Slow Food 2019' as a slow beer.

Barley was born from the intuition of Nicola Perra and Isidoro Mascia to shorten the distances between the world of beer and that of wine. This brewery is indeed the absolute precursor of the all-Italian brewing style of Italian Grape Ale. The “BB Boom” is a high-fermentation beer made with the use of Vermentino must, which emerges as the undisputed protagonist both on the nose and on the palate with its typical floral and delicately citrus notes. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it undergoes refermentation in the bottle; thanks to the relentless work of the yeasts added during boiling, this beer continues to evolve in the bottle, offering flavors and emotions that are always new.

The “BB Boom” from Barley is an IGA with great gastronomic versatility, suitable for pairing with fine dining just like wine and shareable with friends at sunset. Its bright amber color ignites the tulip glass, topped with a white, creamy foam of good persistence. The olfactory aromas it offers are rich in citrus and tropical nuances with hints of bitter orange, mango, quince, and pink grapefruit on a distinctly wine-like background of fragrant white grapes. The sip is full and enveloping, with a high alcohol content, balanced by a surprising drinkability; it finishes with aromatic and slightly bitter notes.
