The Barolo 'Cerequio' by Michele Chiarlo is a champion of the Langhe: intense, austere and noble, a true liquid of great expressiveness. After a period of aging in medium-capacity oak barrels lasting 24 months, it expresses complex and elegant odorous sensations of ripe red fruits, spices, mentholated and slightly balsamic nuances and withered flowers. To the soro reveals its character, it is very fresh, of great precision, with subtle and persistent tannins. An expression of great value!

tanks of oak, macerating for 20 days. The maturation phase then follows, in which the wine remains first for 24 months in oak barrels, and then, after bottling, for another 12 months in glass.

The Barolo “Cerequio” manifests itself to the eye with a typically ruby color, clear and captivating, characterized by slight reflections tending towards garnet at the rim. The fascinating array of aromas unfolds slowly on the nose, where wilted flowers alternate with small ripe fruits and more balsamic and menthol sensations. On the palate, it is of excellent body, muscular, with a sip where an elegant tannin and a pleasantly fresh taste dominate. A red that does not need too many words as much as a concentrated tasting, aimed at fully savoring its qualities.
